I bought 40 rounds of ARMSCOR PRECISION ammo, FMJ 147 Gr, for $44.00 just to plink with and it turned out to be the worst ammo I have ever shot!This was with once-fired brass that I shot myself from factory ammo, so it hadn't been reloaded previously. I will say that I was able to take some unfired Armscor ammo and it plunked just fine, so I'm wondering if the factory loads are too much for whatever grade of brass they're using, causing some sort of distortion that isn't corrected …Every home has them – minor problems that create major headaches. Armscor ammo is made both in the USA and abroad, depending on the caliber. The 10mm stuff is USA made and has been reliable. I think in previous years Armscor ammo was a lot more iffy, but in recent years they've taken pains to improve quality, and I think the move to the USA was responsible for much of that. It works OK in my 10/22, but it doesn't wan't to extract out of my LCR revolver. I think the brass might expand too much. It was actually the first ammo I fired from my LCR.

It barely ran my Beretta 92fs, my shooting buddy didn’t have the burning powder problem but it caused his Glock to malfunction repeatedly.

Works great in every thing I own.. No problems, accurate but a bit smoky. All ammo must meet international specs.. thank goodness for that.. Was my first and last experience with armscor. Now have Kel-tec pmr 30 twice the capacity and on a scale of 1-10 its a 15 now at 600+ rounds and all is good. note : I usually load 25 rounds per magazine which is 1/2 a box.
